Malthus, Manna and the Myth of Overpopulation

by Not Sure

This talk originally aired on RBN on June 10, 2010 and was entitled “Billy Gatekeeper, GMO Crop World Feeder, Philanthropy Prancer for Rising Cancer.” In this series of talks which we’re putting up weekly until Christmas, the focus is on philanthropy and how philanthropists and their foundations fund and implement The Agenda. The dominant minority are the drivers of this one agenda. We are looking at a religion and one of the main tenets is overpopulation.

The most recently discovered Babylonian flood story is the Atrahasis Epic. Here follows a fragment or two:

Twelve hundred years [had not yet passed] [when the land extended] and the peoples multiplied.

The [land] was bellowing [like a bull].

The gods were disturbed with [their uproar].

[Emil heard] their noise

[and addressed] the great gods.

The noise of mankind [has become too intense for me] [with their uproar] I am deprived of sleep.

To stop the noise created by too many people, the gods decide to bring a plague. Enki advised man to bring offerings to Namtar, god of the plague, and this induces him to lift the plague. Twelve hundred years later, the same problem again arises (Tablet II 1–8)- The noise from so many people disturbs the gods. This time the gods bring a drought, which ends when men (upon Enki’s advice) bribe Adad to bring rain.

Despite the fragmentary state of Tablet II, it seems clear that the same problem recurs. This time the gods bring famine (and saline soil).

However, this does not end the difficulties either. Each time the earth becomes overpopulated. At last Enlil persuades the gods to adopt a “final solution” (II viii 34) to the human problem, and they resolve to bring a flood to destroy mankind. Their plan is thwarted by Enki, who has Atrahasis build an ark and so escape the flood. After the rest of mankind has been destroyed, and after the gods have had occasion to regret their actions and to realize (by their thirst and hunger) that they need man, Atrahasis offers a sacrifice, and the gods come to eat. Enki then presents a permanent solution to the overpopulation problem. The new world after the flood is to be different from the old; Enki summons Nintu, the birth goddess, and has her create new creatures who will ensure that the old problem does not arise again. In the words of the Epic (III vii 1)-

In addition, let there be a third category among the peoples,

Among the peoples women who bear and women who do not bear.

Let there be among the peoples the Pasittu-demon to snatch the baby from the lap of her who bore it.

Establish Ugbabtu-women, Entu-women and Igistu-women

And let them be taboo and so stop childbirth.

Most people suffer from short attention spans. Give them a five-minute video that explains all the world’s ills, names the perpetrators, and offers a solution and folk are happy to chatter about that all day until the next little clip comes along. Of course, I’m “preaching to the choir” because those with a short attention span stopped reading this piece at the title. This is why Orwell could write about “two minutes of hate” in his novel 1984. It really is less that the information age and TikTok videos have made us restless and impatient, and more that humans (as a mass) have never been inclined towards deep thinking and heavy research. Our very natures incline us toward the sensationalism of the image and the easy repeatability of the soundbite. Oh, well. This Alan Watt talk might not be for you since he spends more than half of the forty plus minutes reading from a series of articles entitled Bill Gates, Philanthropy, & Social Engineering by Michael Barker. As Alan points out, this is an excellent, well-researched series that demonstrates clearly the interconnected players and agencies that shape our world.

Quite a few people never heard the word eugenics or names such as Francis Galton or Thomas Malthus until they started paying attention to the inconsistencies and outright fabrications surrounding “Covid-19.” A great many were able to think outside the mainstream narrative, especially those with some sort of scientific education, because those who truly “followed the science” discovered that narrative was deeply flawed. Unfortunately, this category of thinkers has few physicians in it because 1) it is difficult for them to get past their loyalty to organizations such as the AMA and the CDC, and 2) their livelihoods are at stake. But of those thinkers who made it that far, many stopped at “the Chinese social credit system” or “surveillance capitalism.”

This coming Wednesday, December 1st, we’re going to upload a little excerpt for the Waking Up series entitled “Thinking the Unthinkable.” It’s shorter than four minutes, so hopefully you can stick with it and give it a bit of thought. Alan says that people hear the information but say, “They wouldn’t really do that.” One has to cross over that line and say, “Yes, they would.”

So, maybe the talk strikes you as a bit dry, but go ahead, listen! Then read Michael Barker’s series of articles on Bill Gates and his foundation. Hopefully at least some of you read the F. William Engdahl piece from 2010 we posted last week, Gates Talks About Vaccines to Reduce Population. Between the Barker series and the Engdahl article, you’ve got a paper trail of players and agencies working in “lockstep.”

In the first installment of the Barker series, he writes about how the Gates Foundation directs some of its resources to progressive grassroots initiatives, while its corporate benefactor actually works to create fake grassroots organizations (otherwise known as astroturf groups) to actively lobby through covert means to protect corporate power. Alan made the comment, regarding AstroTurf, “they own that too” and sure enough if you look into AstroTurf you discover it is a Monsanto invention.

“Astroturfing” undermines democracy by creating the image of consensus where there is none. As part of Microsoft’s battle against the anti-trust actions filed against them, Microsoft and PR giant Edelman waged a “massive media campaign designed to influence state investigators by creating the appearance of a groundswell of public support for the company.” Of course, astroturfing takes on a more ominous meaning when one considers its use in support of GM foods or experimental vaccines.

Let’s get back to this religion and its core belief in overpopulation. In his 1798 writing, An Essay on the Principle of Population, the Reverend Thomas Robert Malthus argued that resource abundance would lead to exponential growth, or the geometric mean versus the arithmetic mean; in other words, taking into account the compounding that would occur with growth. This would lead to what came to be known as the Malthusian trap (or Malthusian crisis or catastrophe) because growth of the food supply or other resources is linear, not exponential, which eventually reduces living standards to the point of triggering a population die off. Malthus influenced Francis Galton and Charles Darwin. Just to be clear, this ancient religion we’re talking about has recently been known as eugenics and in our time it is rather euphemistically called bioethics. If you know what you’re looking at, you can see the adherents among us. Look at William Gates, Sr. and his connections to “family planning” and organizations such as Planned Parenthood. Follow the money trail of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and do a rough tally of how much money their organization gives for birth control initiatives across the world. (You needn’t even go down the rabbit hole of sterility problems brought about by “tainted” vaccines. Just a glance at their foundation’s annual report tells you where the money goes.)

Anthony Fauci’s wife, Christine Grady is a bioethicist who serves as the head of the Department of Bioethics at the National Institutes of Health Clinical Center. In September, The National Institutes of Health (NIH) announced that it was awarding grants ($1.67 million) to five research institutions to look into reports from some women of irregular or missed menstrual periods after getting vaccinated against COVID-19. “Some” women was actually over 35,000 women in Britain alone as of September, and the complaints have detailed problems much more horrific than “irregular” or “missed” menstrual periods. But don’t worry, the NIH is looking into this with Fauci’s buddies at places such as Harvard and Johns Hopkins (Event 201).

The Kissinger Report was declassified in 1990. It is entitled NSSM-200, National Security Study Memorandum 200, “Implications of Worldwide Population Growth for U.S. Security and Overseas Interests” and was jointly prepared by the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), and the Departments of State, Defense and Agriculture.

The Kissinger Report states:

The U.S. economy will require large and increasing amounts of minerals from abroad, especially from less developed countries. That fact gives the U.S. enhanced interest in the political, economic, and social stability of the supplying countries. Wherever a lessening of population pressures through reduced birth rates can increase the prospects for such stability, population policy becomes relevant to resource supplies and to the economic interests of the United States.

The primary purpose of U.S. government population control efforts is to maintain access to the mineral resources of less-developed countries, or LDCs.

According to The Kissinger Report, elements of the implementation of government population control programs could include the legalization of abortion, financial incentives for countries to increase their abortion, sterilization and contraception-use rates, indoctrination of children, and mandatory population control and coercion of other forms, such as withholding disaster and food aid unless an LDC implements population control programs.

This last strategy — force and coercion applied to developing countries — is currently used by the population control cartel to push abortion, sterilization, birth control, homosexuality and transgenderism.

Resources. Control of resources is certainly another tenet of this religion. Per Old Man Rockefeller, competition is a sin. He grabbed control of all the resources he needed for his empire and then used his wealth to push his social agenda. Same agenda, same agenda. Same agenda!

Greenies such as Stewart Brand have disproved Malthus’ outcome in pointing to the levelling off of the growth rate. Others claim the Malthusian warnings were overstated or premature because the green revolution has brought substantial increases in food production and will be able to keep up with continued population growth, but the neo-Malthusians such as Paul Ehrlich (The Population Bomb) and The Club of Rome think-tank (The Limits to Growth) are firmly in control of the narrative.

Take a look at Kissinger’s Memorandum 200 which is still used as a reference by USAID. It’s an eye-opening document to say the least. And while we’re considering the control of earth’s resources, let’s stop for a moment to consider what is happening in Australia to the “original” people. There are videos circulating around social media that purport to be from “original” leaders decrying the forced Covid vaccination of their people with the aim being their genocide and the theft of resources, e.g. minerals, from the land on which they live. These reports are being called “misinformation” and “lies” by the mainstream press. Unless you’re living through something and can observe it with your own eyes, it’s hard to know what is real and what is “fake.” I will say that when you watch the Northern Territory’s chief minister, Michael Gunner, blasting anyone who opposes vaccine mandates, it’s a terrifying thing to see.

As an off-topic aside, it’s worth pondering that in Kissinger’s visit’s to China in the early 1970s, he promised Taiwan that the U.S. would never abandon them, and he paved the way for “normalization” of relations between China and the United States. In November 2020, he warned Biden to hurry up and make nice with China.

Deuteronomy, an Exhortation to Obedience

The Israelites were delivered from Egypt and promised a land of milk and honey but they were afraid and so refused to enter this promised land. As a punishment for their disobedience, God made them wander around in the desert for forty years.

In the first part of the Michael Barker series, Bill Gates, Philanthropy, & Social Engineering, he wrote how Microsoft’s CEO from 2000 until 2014, Steven Ballmer, had links to a controversial group called the Jewish National Fund (JNF) for which he served on their World Chairman's Council, a council that is composed of a “select group of people who have demonstrated an enduring commitment to Israel and JNF” by donating over $1 million. This group was formed in 1901, and is widely considered to be an environmental organization, which as their website notes, has “planted over 240 million trees,” to which Alan quipped, “I guess there’s a tree for every Palestinian maybe, that’s maybe how they do it.” (Maybe they got the idea while wandering around treeless sand dunes for forty years.)

But those disobedient Israelites didn’t starve. Every day, six days a week, they had a blanket of little white seeds called manna which they could grind up and use for bread, as long as they only took what they needed for each day, with the exception of preparing for their one day of rest. Was this a law against hoarding or prepping? I don’t think so. It was a call to obedience and faith.

In this talk, we left in a bit at the beginning where Alan encourages you to visit his websites and also to order his books. He said they’re not the usual boring, scholarly books with the fake details of “his-story.” He shows you how to think in a non-linear fashion. Last week, a listener sent some cash in an envelope all the way from Jamaica, West Indies to purchase the Cutting Through books. He enclosed a little note and this is what it said, “Alan Watt was an amazing gift to us by the Universe. It’s not that we panic to stop changes, but find Peace in knowing “Truth” and being Awake.” Hear, hear!
